1 AN ACT making appropriations and reappropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The sum of $57,009,800, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University
7 for any expenditures or purposes authorized by law, including
8 payment to the University for personal services and related
9 costs incurred.
10 Section 10. The sum of $9,652,400, or so much thereof as
11 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education
12 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois
13 University for any expenditures or purposes authorized by
14 law, including payment to the University for personal
15 services and related costs incurred.
16 Section 15. The amount of $29,600, or so much thereof as
17 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
18 business on June 30, 2002, from a reappropriation heretofore
19 made for such purposes in Article 17, Section 15 of Public
20 Act 92-8, is reappropriated from the Fund for Illinois'
21 Future to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois
22 University for all costs associated with the repair,
23 rehabilitation, and replacement of the roof on Sherman Hall.
24 Section 20. The amount of $116,200, or so much thereof
25 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
26 business on June 30, 2002, from a reappropriation heretofore
27 made for such purposes in Article 17, Section 25 of Public
28 Act 92-8, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund
29 to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for

1 technology infrastructure improvements at Western Illinois
2 University. No contract shall be entered into or obligation
3 incurred for any expenditures from the reappropriation made
4 in this Section until after the purposes and amounts have
5 been approved in writing by the Governor.
6 Section 25. The amount of $25,000, or so much thereof as
7 may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and
8 University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western
9 Illinois University for scholarship grant awards from the
10 sale of collegiate license plates.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
12 July 1, 2002.
