1 AN ACT in relation to vehicles.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
5 changing Section 13-109.3 as follows:
6 (625 ILCS 5/13-109.3)
7 Sec. 13-109.3. Exemption from diesel emissions
8 inspections. Second division vehicles being operated on
9 plates issued pursuant to subsection (b) or (c) of Section
10 3-815 are exempt from the diesel emissions inspection
11 requirements set forth in this Chapter.

13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
