 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1284

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1284 on page 2, by
 3    replacing lines 10 through 13 with the following:
 4        "(c)  (Blank).  "Department"  means  the  Department   of
 5    Professional Regulation.
 6        (d)  (Blank).    "Director"   means   the   Director   of
 7    Professional Regulation."; and

 8    on page  3,  by  replacing  lines  18  through  22  with  the
 9    following:
10    "11  9  examiners,  as  determined by Board rule, including 2
11    public members. The remainder at least 7 of whom  shall  be";
12    and

13    on  page  8,  line 19, before "public" by inserting "licensed
14    certified"; and

15    on page 12, line 11, by replacing "Department"  with   "Board
16    Department"; and

17    on  page  14,  line 30, by replacing "Department" with "Board
18    Department"; and

19    on page 15, line 4, before "public"  by  inserting  "licensed
20    certified"; and

21    on  page  15,  line 7, before "public" by inserting "licensed

 2    on page 17, line 3, by replacing "Department"  with  "Board";
 3    and

 7    certified"; and

 8    on  page  21,  line  16, after "fee" by inserting ", shall be
 9    required  to  submit  proof  of   the   required   continuing
10    eduction,"; and
