1 AN ACT concerning monthly customer utility charges.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 (220 ILCS 5/9-220.5 new)
5 Sec. 9-220.5. Monthly customer charges; grain drying
6 operation. A public utility that provides natural gas
7 service to a grain drying operation may charge a monthly
8 customer service charge with respect to the grain drying
9 operation only during months in which natural gas is used in
10 the grain drying operation.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
