92_SB0935eng SB935 Engrossed LRB9207852JSpc 1 AN ACT concerning insurance. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by 5 adding Section 155.37 as follows: 6 (215 ILCS 5/155.37 new) 7 Sec. 155.37. Drug formulary; notice. Insurance 8 companies that transact the kinds of insurance authorized 9 under Class 1(b) or Class 2(a) of Section 4 of this Code and 10 provide coverage for prescription drugs through the use of a 11 drug formulary must notify insureds of any change in the 12 formulary. A company may comply with this Section by posting 13 changes in the formulary on its website. 14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 15 becoming law.
