 1        AN ACT in relation to alcoholic liquor.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by
 5    adding Section 6-32 as follows:

 6        (235 ILCS 5/6-32 new)
 7        Sec. 6-32.  Drive-through sales prohibited.
 8        (a)  No licensee under this Act may sell alcoholic liquor
 9    at a drive-up location. For the purpose of this Section,  the
10    term  "licensee"  includes  any agent or employee of a person
11    who is licensed under this Act.   For  the  purpose  of  this
12    Section,  the  term  "drive-up  location"  means any location
13    where a person may purchase alcoholic liquor from within  his
14    or her vehicle.
15        (b)  A  person  who  violates this Section is guilty of a
16    Class B misdemeanor.

17        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
18    becoming law.
