1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 606
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 606, on page 2,
3 line 7, by replacing "zero-interest loans" with "loans at no
4 more than 2% interest"; and
5 on page 2, line 8, after "improvements.", by inserting "The
6 Department shall assist in the loan application and review
7 process, including the provision of statewide access to
8 technical assistance for the proper completion and submission
9 of applications."; and
10 on page 3, below line 2, by inserting the following:
11 "(d) The Authority shall give priority to projects that
12 (i) demonstrate innovative and efficient ways to achieve
13 demand reductions, (ii) may serve as a model for replication
14 in other locations, or (iii) are proposed by governmental or
15 nonprofit organizations to promote both energy efficiency and
16 improved reliability of service."; and
17 on page 3, line 5, after "report", by inserting "on or before
18 January 15 of each year".
