1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 373
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 373 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 16 through 18 with the following:
4 "capable caregivers. The report shall include an assessment,
5 based on the survey, of improvements in employee benefits
6 that may attract capable caregivers."; and
7 on page 2, by replacing lines 21 through 24 with the
8 following:
9 "computed on a regional basis, compared to similarly
10 qualified employees in other but related fields."; and
11 on page 4, by replacing lines 13 through 16 with the
12 following:
13 "(3) (Blank). Maximum employment of recipients of
14 public assistance in day care centers and day care homes,
15 operated in conjunction with short-term work training
16 programs."; and
17 on page 4, line 25, after "grants"; by inserting ", but only
18 to the extent funds are specifically appropriated for this
19 purpose,"; and
20 on page 5, line 12, by deleting "support"; and
21 on page 5, line 17, by replacing "the Project Chance program"

1 with "any programs the Project chance program".
