1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $100,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary is appropriated from the General
6 Revenue Fund to the Department of Employment Security to hire
7 additional staff and to meet other expenses that are
8 necessary to monitor and investigate compliance with the
9 federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act by
10 private entities in Illinois.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
12 July 1, 2001.
