1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 24
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 24 on page 1, line
3 25 by inserting after "education" the following:
4 "(or that the parties are exempt from the pre-marital
5 education requirement); and
6 on page 3, line 15 by changing "an official" to "a
7 designated"; and
8 on page 4, by inserting after line 13 the following:
9 "If both of the parties are at least 55 years of age:
10 (i) the requirements of this subsection (b) do not
11 apply to them; and
12 (ii) the county clerk shall issue a license to
13 marry without delay if they have complied with the
14 applicable requirements of subsection (a).".
