1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are proud to recognize significant events in
4 the lives of the citizens of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Debbie Bach is
6 completing her last term as Illinois President of the General
7 Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC); and
8 WHEREAS, Debbie Bach has been a member of the Lansing
9 Junior Woman's Club since 1976; she has held various
10 positions in many Illinois GFWC clubs including GFWC Junior
11 Director, GFWC Director of Junior Clubs, and she is currently
12 Illinois State President; as State President, her special
13 emphasis project was "Child Abuse Prevention"; and
14 WHEREAS, While GFWC Director of Junior Clubs, Debbie Bach
15 had the opportunity to be a U.S. Delegate to the
16 International Woman's Conference in Beijing, China; and
17 WHEREAS, Debbie Bach married Don on May 22, 1965, and has
18 been happily married for 37 years; and
19 WHEREAS, Debbie and Don Bach have three children, Donna
20 (Sonny) Storbeck, Bill (MaryAnn), and Brian (Beth); they have
21 one grandchild, Billy Bach; and
22 WHEREAS, Debbie Bach and her husband have worked hard in
23 their family golf business, Cam Golf, for 30 years; she has
24 kept the books for the business for the last 20 years; and
25 WHEREAS, In addition to her work and various positions
26 held throughout the GFWC Organization, Debbie Bach likes to
27 read and loves to spend time with grandson, Billy; she enjoys
28 traveling and being at her condo in Arizona; therefore be it
29 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
30 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1 we congratulate Debbie Bach on her contributions to the
2 General Federation of Women's Clubs, and wish her all the
3 best in her future endeavors; and be it further
4 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to Debbie Bach as an expression of our esteem.
