1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to recognize notable accomplishments in
4 high school sports; and
5 WHEREAS, Wholesome school and athletic activity is
6 encouraged at all levels of participation and ability; and
7 WHEREAS, Jason Fisher has diligently trained and excelled
8 in his basketball skills throughout his lifetime; and
9 WHEREAS, Many coaches, teachers, and administrators of
10 Delavan High School have consistently encouraged and lauded
11 Jason's efforts, determination, and ability; and
12 WHEREAS, Jason Fisher has projected himself to the
13 highest level of accomplishment in his championship
14 performance in the 2002 IHSA State Class A Slam Dunk
15 Competition; and
16 WHEREAS, Jason Fisher celebrates his outstanding
17 accomplishment with his teammates, coaches, family, friends,
18 and the student body at Delavan High School; in addition, the
19 City of Delavan recognized April 13, 2002, as "King of the
20 Hill Day" in recognition of Jason Fisher; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
22 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
23 we congratulate Jason Fisher on his championship performance
24 at the 2002 IHSA State Class A Slam Dunk Competition; and be
25 it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to Jason Fisher as an expression of our esteem.
