1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to express their sincere condolences to
4 the family and friends of William Patrick Clancy, who
5 recently passed away; and
6 WHEREAS, William Patrick Clancy was a native of
7 Woodville, Co. Sligo and Westport, Co. Mayo, Ireland; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Clancy was a retired manager of Kroger; and
9 WHEREAS, The passing of William Patrick Clancy will be
10 deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his
11 beloved wife of 66 years, Kathleen Clancy; his children,
12 Charles (Jan) Clancy, William (Mary) Clancy, Mary (Bob)
13 Jurewicz, Patrick (Donna) Clancy, Kathleen (Conrad) Kamer,
14 and Sergeant Gerard Clancy, C.P.D; his 22 grandchildren; his
15 17 great-grandchildren; his sister Sadie Kelly; and his
16 brother Charles Clancy; he was preceded in death by his son,
17 Lance Corporal Joseph A. Clancy, U.S.M.C., and his sisters,
18 Eileen, Maisie, Ita, and Annie; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
21 we mourn, along with all who knew him, the death of William
22 Patrick Clancy; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of William Patrick Clancy with our
25 sincere condolences.
