1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize milestone events in
4 the history of community sports in the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that the Antioch
6 Little League Organization is celebrating its fiftieth
7 anniversary this year; and
8 WHEREAS, The Antioch Little League Organization was
9 established in 1952; and
10 WHEREAS, In 1979, the Antioch Junior Baseball Team became
11 State Champions; and
12 WHEREAS, The Antioch Little League Organization has been
13 supported for the past fifty years by the State Bank of the
14 Lakes, First National Bank Employee Owned, and other numerous
15 community businesses; other contributors include School
16 District 34, School District 117, the Antioch VFW, and the
17 Village of Antioch; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
20 we congratulate the Antioch Little League Organization on the
21 celebration of its fiftieth anniversary; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the Antioch Little League Organization as an
24 expression of our esteem.
