1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to express their sincere condolences to
4 the family and friends of Francis Gambro, who recently passed
5 away; and
6 WHEREAS, Francis J. "Fran" Gambro was sworn in as a
7 Wheeling Firefighter/Paramedic on September 5, 1979; he was
8 the Political Education Committee Chairman for the Associated
9 Fire Fighters of Illinois and served as the Vice President of
10 Wheeling Local #3079; and
11 WHEREAS, Mr. Gambro was a Texas Ranger baseball Associate
12 Scout, the owner of A.F.G. Vending Company, and worked as an
13 employee of Sears Service Center for twenty-seven years; and
14 WHEREAS, Mr. Gambro was the Director of Youth Athletics,
15 B.G.R.A.; he is also remembered as being a sports fanatic;
16 and
17 WHEREAS, Francis J. "Fran" Gambro will be deeply missed
18 by his loving wife, Joyce; his children, Adam, Nicholas, and
19 Derek; his parents, Francis and Joan Gambro; his brothers,
20 John (wife, Beth) and Tim Gambro; his in-laws, Joe and
21 Jeanette Gromala; his nephews, Michael, Justin, Winston,
22 Jack, and Kyle; his nieces, Gina, Kara, and Jessica; and his
23 many brothers and sisters in the Associated Fire Fighters of
24 Illinois; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
26 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
27 we mourn, along with his family, friends, and colleagues, the
28 passing of Francis Gambro of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; and be
29 it further
30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
31 presented to the family of Francis Gambro.
