1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we urge the Governor not to
5 provide any merit pay increases in fiscal year 2003 for
6 employees who are not part of a collective bargaining unit;
7 and be it further
8 RESOLVED, That we urge the Governor to investigate and
9 report to the General Assembly by September 1, 2002,
10 concerning the cost savings that may be obtained by allowing
11 personnel to be reimbursed based on mileage for use of their
12 own vehicles rather than providing them with State vehicles;
13 and be it further
14 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be presented to
15 the Governor.
