1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5807
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5807 as follows:
3 on page 1, line 7, after "organ" by deleting "or" and
4 inserting ","; and
5 on page 1, line 8, after "marrow" by inserting ", blood, or
6 blood platelets"; and
7 on page 1, line 18, after "organ" by deleting "or" and
8 inserting ","; and
9 on page 1, line 19, after "marrow" by inserting ", blood, or
10 blood platelets"; and
11 on page 1, line 25, after "donor" by deleting "and" and
12 inserting ","; and
13 on page 1, line 26, after "donor" by inserting the following:
14 ", (iii) up to one hour to donate blood every 56 days, and
15 (iv) up to 2 hours to donate blood platelets in accordance
16 with appropriate medical standards established by the
17 American Red Cross or other nationally-recognized standards.
18 Leave under item (iv) may not be granted more than 24 times
19 in a 12-month period"; and
20 on page 1, line 27, after "leave" by inserting "or other
