1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5694
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5694 on page 1, by
3 replacing line 31 with the following:
4 "Shall (name of district) be authorized to establish
5 its general corporate tax rate at (insert rate) on the
6 equalized assessed value on the taxable property located
7 within the district for its general purposes, including
8 education, outdoor recreation, maintenance, operations,
9 public safety at the forest preserves, trails, and other
10 properties of the district (and, optionally, insert any
11 other lawful purposes or programs determined by the
12 Board)?"; and
13 on page 2, by deleting lines 1 through 3.
