1 AN ACT concerning insurance.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
5 changing Section 388b as follows:
6 (215 ILCS 5/388b) (from Ch. 73, par. 1000b)
7 Sec. 388b. Group vehicle insurance authorized.
8 Any insurance company authorized to write vehicle
9 insurance in Illinois this State, as authorized by clause (b)
10 of Class 2 and clause (e) of Class 3 of Section 4, shall have
11 power to issue group vehicle policies. Group vehicle
12 insurance policies shall be subject to the filing
13 requirements of Section 143 and shall include the provisions
14 required by Sections 388c through 388f of this Code. A group
15 vehicle insurance policy that provides liability coverage
16 shall comply with the requirements of Section 7-317 of the
17 Illinois Vehicle Code.
