2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5578 as follows:
3 on page 1, by replacing lines 14 and 15 with the following:
4 "in which the DNA profile of the offender is obtained and
5 entered into a DNA database within 10 years after the
6 commission of the offense and the identity of the offender is
7 unknown after a diligent investigation by law enforcement
8 authorities, may be".
