1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5577
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5577 on page 3 by
3 replacing lines 5 through 10 with the following:
4 "Except that the corporate authorities city council of any
5 municipality A) with a population of 12,500 or more but less
6 than then 25,000 that i) is located in a county with a
7 population of 250,000 or more but less than 260,000 and ii)
8 does not levy a property tax; or B) with a population between
9 40,000 and 75,000 shall not levy a property tax for purposes
10 of this Division 65.".
