1 AN ACT in relation to criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by
5 changing Section 5-1-22 as follows:
6 (730 ILCS 5/5-1-22) (from Ch. 38, par. 1005-1-22)
7 Sec. 5-1-22. Victim. "Victim" has shall have the
8 meaning ascribed to the term "crime victim" it in subsection
9 (a) of Section 3 of the Bill of Rights of Crime for Victims
10 and Witnesses of Violent Crime Act.
