1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4446
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 4446 on page 1, in
3 line 25 by inserting after the period the following:
4 "For purposes of assessing State disaster response needs,
5 requests made pursuant to this Act for services out-of-state
6 shall be coordinated by the American Red Cross and the
7 Illinois Emergency Management Agency through the Illinois
8 State Emergency Operations Center. The Illinois Emergency
9 Management Agency may consult with the Department of Central
10 Management Services on leave issues that could impact the
11 operations of State agencies under the Governor's
12 jurisdiction."; and
13 on page 1, in line 26 by inserting after "denied" the
14 following:
15 "for services related to a disaster within the United States
16 or its territories"; and
17 on page 2, in line 21 by inserting after "denied" the
18 following:
19 "for services related to a disaster within the United States
20 or its territories"; and
21 on page 2, by inserting after line 24 the following:

1 "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
2 1, 2002.".
