1 AN ACT in relation to construction trades training.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
5 amended by adding Section 605-830 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 605/605-830 new)
7 Sec. 605-830. O'Neill Lumber Company Site. The
8 Department of Commerce and Community Affairs may participate
9 in the conversion of the O'Neill Lumber Company Site into a
10 construction trades training and incubator facility and may
11 make grants and expend funds for this purpose.
12 Section 10. The Capital Development Board Act is amended
13 by adding Section 10.17 as follows:
14 (20 ILCS 3105/10.17 new)
15 Sec. 10.17. O'Neill Lumber Company Site. To make a grant
16 to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs, to be
17 used by the Department for the conversion of the O'Neill
18 Lumber Company Site into a construction trades training and
19 incubator facility.
20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
21 becoming law.
