 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5. "An Act making appropriations", approved  June
 5    11, 2001, Public Act 92-8, is amended by changing Section 7.1
 6    of Article 48 as follows:

 7        (P.A. 92-8, Art. 48, Sec. 7.1)
 8        Sec.  7.1.  The  following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
 9    thereof   as  may  be  necessary,  are  appropriated  to  the
10    Department of Public Health for expenses of programs  related
11    to   Acquired  Immunodeficiency  Syndrome  (AIDS)  and  Human
12    Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV):
13               OFFICE OF HEALTH PROTECTION:  AIDS/HIV
14    Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
15      For Personal Services ........................ $    556,200
16      For Employee Retirement Contributions
17       Paid by Employer ............................       22,300
18      For State Contributions to State
19       Employees' Retirement System ................       57,800
20      For State Contributions to Social Security ...       42,600
21      For Contractual Services .....................       28,500
22      For Travel ...................................       12,700
23      For Equipment ................................        6,500
24      For Expenses of an AIDS Hotline ..............      230,500
25      For Expenses of AIDS/HIV Education,
26       Drugs, Services, Counseling, Testing,
27       Referral and Partner Notification
28       (CTRPN), and Patient and Worker
29       Notification pursuant to Public
30             Act 87-763 ................... 17,663,100 12,663,100
31      For Expenses of the AIDS Advisory Council ....       11,600

22        Section 99. Effective date. This Act  takes  effect  upon
23    becoming law.
