1 AN ACT concerning counties.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by changing
5 Section 5-33007 as follows:
6 (55 ILCS 5/5-33007) (from Ch. 34, par. 5-33007)
7 Sec. 5-33007. Definition. As used in this Division, the
8 term "superhighways" means streets, avenues, roads and drives
9 constituting limited access roadways, with all auxiliary
10 streets, avenues, roads, drives, bridges, viaducts,
11 underpasses, and approaches for ingress and egress to and
12 from the main thoroughfares of the such streets, avenues,
13 roads, and drives, and other necessary or appropriate
14 appurtenances thereto, to facilitate the movement of through
15 traffic, to be constructed in accordance with the resolutions
16 of the County Board heretofore or hereafter approved by the
17 Department of Public Works and Buildings or the Department of
18 Transportation of the State of Illinois.
