1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3687
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3687 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 2 through 19 with the following:
4 "materials from the building. It is not a"; and
5 by replacing line 30 on page 2 through line 3 on page 3 with
6 the following:
7 "over all other suits. Any person entitled to bring an
8 action under"; and
9 on page 3, in line 5 by inserting after the period the
10 following:
11 "In the case of an application for an order authorizing the
12 demolition, repair, enclosure, or removal of a building that
13 is located within 1,200 feet of any rail line, mass transit
14 line, school, police station, fire station, library, federal,
15 State, or local government building or other facility, water
16 filtration station, water pumping station, electrical
17 transfer station, electrical generation facility, or natural
18 gas or other utility facility, the summons shall be in the
19 form prescribed by subsection (d) of Supreme Court Rule 101,
20 except that it shall require the respondent to answer or
21 appear within 7 days. As used in this Section, "building"
22 includes any building or other structure.".
