1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3448
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3448, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of
7 Claims for its ordinary and contingent expenses:

9 Payable from the General Revenue Fund:

11 For State Contribution to State Employees'

13 For Employee Retirement Contributions
14 Paid by Employer............................ 34,800
15 For State Contribution to Social Security....... 66,600
16 For Contractual Services........................ 33,200
17 For Travel...................................... 12,200
18 For Commodities................................. 7,500
19 For Printing.................................... 3,500
20 For Equipment................................... 5,200
21 For Telecommunications Services................. 5,500
22 For Reimbursement for Incidental
23 Expenses Incurred by Judges................... 35,300
24 Total $1,162,000

1 Section 10. The amount of $217,500, or so much thereof
2 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Court of Claims
3 Administration and Grant Fund to the Court of Claims for
4 administrative expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation
5 Act.
6 Section 15. The following named amounts, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of
8 Claims for payment of claims as follows:
9 For claims under the Crime Victims
10 Compensation Act:
11 Payable from General Revenue Fund............. $20,000,000
12 For claims other than Crime Victims:
13 Payable from the General Revenue Fund......... 10,000,000
14 Payable from the Road Fund.................... 1,000,000

17 Payable from the State Garage
18 Revolving Fund.............................. 50,000
19 Payable from the Traffic and
20 Criminal Conviction Surcharge Fund.......... 100,000
21 Payable from the Vocational
22 Rehabilitation Fund......................... 125,000
23 Total $32,775,000
24 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
25 1, 2001.".
