2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3188, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment
4 No. 1, on page 4, by inserting after line 29 the following:
5 "(735 ILCS 5/7-103.165a new)
6 Sec. 7-103.165a. Quick-take; City of Effingham.
7 Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a
8 period of 12 months after the effective date of this
9 amendatory Act of the 92nd General Assembly by the City of
10 Effingham for the acquisition of real property lying within
11 (1) the South Half of the Northeast Quarter, and the North
12 Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 8
13 North, Range 6 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
14 Effingham County, Illinois, and (2) the Southwest Quarter of
15 the Northwest Quarter, and the Northwest Quarter of the
16 Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 8 North, Range 6
17 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Effingham County,
18 Illinois, being necessary for the Ford Avenue Improvement
19 Project commencing at the intersection of existing Ford
20 Avenue and North Keller Drive, thence in an Easterly
21 direction to the intersection of existing Ford Avenue and
22 North Raney Street, thence in an Easterly direction to the
23 intersection of Ford Avenue extended and Charlotte Street
