1 AN ACT in relation to environmental safety.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended
5 by changing Section 24 as follows:
6 (415 ILCS 5/24) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1024)
7 Sec. 24. Prohibited acts. No person shall emit beyond the
8 boundaries of his property any noise that unreasonably
9 interferes with the enjoyment of life or with any lawful
10 business or activity, so as to violate any regulation or
11 standard adopted by the Board under this Act.
