1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2536
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2536 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The Private Detective, Private Alarm,
5 Private Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993 is amended by
6 changing Section 135 as follows:
7 (225 ILCS 446/135)
8 Sec. 135. Temporary suspension. The Director of
9 Professional Regulation may temporarily suspend a licensee
10 without a hearing, simultaneously with the initiation of
11 proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 130 of this
12 Act, if the Director finds that evidence in his or her
13 possession indicates that a licensee's continuation in
14 practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public.
15 If the Director temporarily suspends the license of a
16 licensee without a hearing, a hearing by the Board shall be
17 held within 30 days after the suspension has occurred.
