1 AN ACT concerning fire fighting.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by
5 adding Sections 11-8-7 and 11-9-5 as follows:
6 (65 ILCS 5/11-8-7 new)
7 Sec. 11-8-7. Entry into mobile home parks. Members of a
8 municipal fire department may enter into mobile home parks,
9 as defined in Section 2.5 of the Mobile Home Park Act, for
10 the purpose of carrying out fire inspections, including, but
11 not limited to, the testing and maintenance of fire hydrants.

13 Sec. 11-9-5. Entry into mobile home parks. The fire
14 inspector of every municipality with a population of 500,000
15 or more, or his or her designee, may enter into mobile home
16 parks, as defined in Section 2.5 of the Mobile Home Park Act,
17 for the purpose of carrying out fire inspections, including,
18 but not limited to, the testing and maintenance of fire
19 hydrants.
20 Section 10. The Fire Protection District Act is amended
21 by adding Section 17.5 as follows:
22 (70 ILCS 705/17.5 new)
23 Sec. 17.5. Entry into mobile home parks. Members of the
24 fire department of a fire protection district may enter into
25 mobile home parks, as defined in Section 2.5 of the Mobile
26 Home Park Act, for the purpose of carrying out fire
27 inspections, including, but not limited to, the testing and
28 maintenance of fire hydrants.
