1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1. The following amounts, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the
7 objects and purposes named, to meet the ordinary and
8 contingent expenses of Illinois Violence Prevention
9 Authority:
10 Payable from the Violence Prevention Fund:
11 For Personal Services ........................ $ 397,300
12 For Employee Retirement Contributions
13 Paid by Employer ............................ 15,900
14 For State Contributions to State
15 Employees' Retirement System ................ 40,900
16 For State Contribution to
17 Social Security ............................. 30,400
18 For Group Insurance .......................... 66,400
19 For Contractual Services ..................... 150,000
20 For Travel ................................... 25,000
21 For Commodities .............................. 25,000
22 For Printing ................................. 12,700
23 For Equipment ................................ 8,500
24 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 5,000
25 For Telecommunications Services .............. 4,300
26 Total $781,400
27 Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
28 For Contractual Services ..................... 73,400

30 Section 2. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as

1 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Violence
2 Prevention Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority
3 for the purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of
4 the Violence Prevention Act of 1995.
5 Section 3. The sum of $2,550,000, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
7 Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority for the
8 purpose of awarding grants under the provisions of the
9 Violence Prevention Act of 1995.
10 Section 4. The amount of $13,900,000, or so much of that
11 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
12 Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority
13 for its Safe to Learn Program.
14 Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of that
15 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
16 Revenue Fund to the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority
17 for the Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council
18 Program.
19 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
20 July 1, 2001.
