1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2221
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2221, on page 1,
3 line 19 by inserting after the period the following:
4 "An employee may not take a leave of absence under this
5 Section unless the employee has exhausted all of his or her
6 accrued vacation leave, personal leave, compensatory leave
7 and any other leave that may be granted to the employee
8 except sick leave and disability leave. The employer shall
9 determine whether a leave of absence taken under this Section
10 is a paid leave of absence or an unpaid leave of absence.".
