1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1926
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1926 on page 1, by
3 replacing line 7 with the following:
4 "Sec. 6-50. Tax levy for road district.
5 (a) Findings and purpose. The General"; and
6 on page 6, line 6, by replacing "provided a" with "provided
7 that, in road districts that are not subject to the Property
8 Tax Extension Limitation Law in the Property Tax Code, a";
9 and
10 on page 6, line 31, after "authorized.", by inserting "The
11 annual budget and appropriation ordinance for the road
12 district shall state the amount, purpose, and duration of any
13 accumulation of funds authorized by this Section, with
14 specific reference to each project to be constructed or
15 equipment to be purchased."; and
16 on page 7, immediately below line 3, by inserting the
17 following:
18 "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
19 becoming law.".
