1 AN ACT concerning animals.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Animal Control Act is amended by changing
5 Section 9 as follows:
6 (510 ILCS 5/9) (from Ch. 8, par. 359)
7 Sec. 9. Impounding dogs. Any dog found running at large
8 contrary to provisions of this Act shall be apprehended and
9 impounded. For this purpose, the Administrator shall utilize
10 any existing or available public pound.
