1 AN ACT in relation to highways.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by changing
5 Section 6 as follows:
6 (605 ILCS 10/6) (from Ch. 121, par. 100-6)
7 Sec. 6. Immediately after such appointment and
8 qualification as hereinafter provided, the said chairman and
9 directors shall enter upon their duties. The directors shall
10 biennially select a secretary, who may or may not be a
11 director, and if not a director fix his compensation. Six
12 directors shall constitute a quorum. No vacancy in the said
13 Board of Directors shall impair the right of a quorum of the
14 directors to exercise all the rights and perform all the
15 duties of the Authority.
