1 AN ACT with respect to education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Aid Continuing Appropriation Law is
5 amended by changing Section 15-15 as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 235/15-15)
7 Sec. 15-15. State aid formula; funding Aid Formula;
8 Funding. The General Assembly shall annually make Common
9 School Fund appropriations to the State Board of Education in
10 fiscal years 1999 through 2001 sufficient to fund (i) the
11 General State Aid Formula set forth in subsection (E)
12 (Computation of General State Aid) and subsection (H)
13 (Supplemental General State Aid) of Section 18-8.05 of the
14 School Code and (ii) the supplementary payments for school
15 districts set forth in subsection (J) (Supplementary Grants
16 in Aid) of Section 18-8.05 of the School Code.
