1 AN ACT concerning education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Military School Scholarship Act is
5 amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 955/1) (from Ch. 144, par. 21a)
7 Sec. 1. The board of county commissioners or the county
8 board of any county may appropriate a sum of money not to
9 exceed $600 a year, for the support and education of a
10 student in any military school operating in this the State,
11 which has been declared by the Governor to be a post of the
12 Illinois National Guard under and by virtue of the provisions
13 of "An Act to provide for the annual inspection of the
14 several departments of the universities, colleges, academies
15 and other educational institutions organized under the laws
16 of the State of Illinois," filed June 26, 1895, and
17 amendments thereto.
