1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 268
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 268 as follows:
3 on page 1, by replacing lines 11 through 31 with the
4 following:
5 "expulsion. A school board must establish and, in written
6 form, compile and maintain definitions of those offenses that
7 would result in expulsion for up to one year."; and
8 on page 2, by deleting lines 1 through 25; and
9 on page 4, line 3, by replacing "2 calendar years" with "one
10 2 calendar year years"; and
11 on page 4, lines 7 and 8, by replacing "not less than" with
12 "not less than"; and
13 on page 6, by replacing lines 8 through 34 with the
14 following:
15 "rules and regulations. The board must establish and, in
16 written form, compile and maintain definitions of those
17 offenses that would result in expulsion for up to one year
18 or more."; and
19 on page 7, by deleting lines 1 through 19.
