        Amends the State Universities Article of the Pension Code to  add      
   4 elected members to the Board of Trustees.  Effective immediately.         
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          SB 1196 would not affect the accrued liabilities or annual           
          costs of SURS.
