        Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)  Article  of      
   the Pension Code.  Provides a minimum annuity for the surviving spouse      
   of  a  person  with  at  least  10 years of service as a sheriff's law      
   enforcement employee  (SLEP).    Removes  the  reduction  due  to  age      
   difference  for  the surviving spouse of a SLEP.  Allows the surviving      
   spouse of a SLEP to remarry before age 55 without loss  of  survivor's      
   benefits.   Amends  the  State  Mandates Act to require implementation      
   without reimbursement.  Effective immediately.
