   625 ILCS 5/6-206          from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-206                       

        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code.  Makes a  stylistic  change  in      
   provisions  concerning  the  suspension  and  revocation  of  driver's      
   licenses.                                                                   
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          625 ILCS 5/6-206                                                     
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          625 ILCS 5/2-123                                                     
          625 ILCS 5/6-204                from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-204          
          625 ILCS 5/16-104a                                                   
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code.   Provides      
   that  the  clerk  of  the  court  shall  inform the Secretary of State      
   regarding the disposition of certain traffic offenders' cases by court      
   supervision.  Provides that the report must be sent within 10 days  of      
   disposition  or  within  10  days of the driver's referral to a driver      
   remedial or rehabilitation program.  Provides that the report  may  be      
   sent  in electronic format (as an alternative to sending it on a paper      
   form prescribed by the Secretary).   Provides  that  the  reports  are      
   privileged  information  available only (i) to the affected driver and      
   (ii) for use by the courts, police officers, prosecuting  authorities,      
   and  the Secretary of State.  Further provides that certain reports of      
   juvenile hearings shall be in "an electronic format"  rather  than  "a      
   computer  processible  medium".     Makes technical changes. Effective      
   October 1, 2000.
