FRANKS. 35 ILCS 5/201 from Ch. 120, par. 2-201 Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Grants an additional tax credit to taxpayers eligible for the Jobs Tax Credit in an amount equal to 5% of the taxpayer's net income for 25 or more employees hired to work for the taxpayer in the taxable year. Establishes a separate jobs creation credit and grants a credit against the tax imposed by the Act in an amount equal to 2.5% of a taxpayer's net income for 25 or more employees hired to work for the taxpayer in the taxable year.
