   725 ILCS 5/102-7          from Ch. 38, par. 102-7                           

        Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.   Makes  stylistic      
   changes in a Section concerning bail bonds.                                 
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          725 ILCS 5/102-7                                                     
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          705 ILCS 105/4                  from Ch. 25, par. 4                  
          705 ILCS 105/27.6a new                                               
          725 ILCS 5/110-7                from Ch. 38, par. 110-7              
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Clerks of Courts Act and the Code      
   of Criminal Procedure of 1963.  Provides that a circuit  clerk's  bond      
   may  not be less than the lesser of (i) 1% of the total fees collected      
   by the clerk during the previous fiscal year or (ii) $1,000,000  (now,      
   not  less  than  $5,000).   Provides  that  a  court may not waive the      
   circuit clerk's retention of 10% of the amount deposited  as  bail  as      
   provided in the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.  Provides that the      
   clerk  shall  remit  monthly  to  the county treasurer all those "10%"      
   amounts and that the county treasurer shall retain those amounts in  a      
   special  fund  designated  as the Criminal Justice Information Network      
   Fund.  Provides that the county board shall make expenditures from the      
   fund to pay the costs of developing  and  implementing  an  integrated      
   criminal  justice  information network. Provides that the county board      
   shall develop and  implement  the  network  in  cooperation  with  the      
   Illinois  Criminal Justice Information Authority and the Department of      
   State Police.
