   705 ILCS 105/6            from Ch. 25, par. 6                               

        Amends the Clerks of Courts Act.  Adds a  caption  to  a  Section      
   concerning offices of clerks.                                               
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.                                                 
          Deletes reference to:

        Deletes everything.  Amends the Clerks of Courts Act.  Authorizes      
   a  circuit  clerk  to  execute  his or her signature electronically or      
   digitally.  Authorizes the circuit clerk to charge fees for copies  of      
   certain  documents  in connection with adoption cases. Provides that a      
   county board may require the circuit clerk to collect  a  fee  of  not      
   more  than  $10  (now,  not  more  than  $5)  to defray the expense of      
   establishing a document storage  system  and  converting  the  clerk's      
   records to electronic or micrographic storage.
