1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Steve Mocogni of Highwood on June 3, 1999;
4 and
5 WHEREAS, He was born in S'Anna Pelago, Modena, Italy on
6 October 3, 1920, and has been a resident of Highwood since
7 1951; and
8 WHEREAS, He was a member of St. James Church of Highwood,
9 the Modenasa Society, and the Highwood Bocce Ball Club; and
10 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
11 and friends, especially his wife, Helen; his sons, Paul and
12 Steve; his daughter, Frida; his daughters-in-law, Pat and
13 Donna; his son-in-law, Patrick Leverick; his grandchildren,
14 Erik, Amanda, Robert, and Matthew; and his brother and
15 sister-in-law, Mike and Marietta Mocogni; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
17 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow
18 and regret the death of Steve Mocogni and extend our sincere
19 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to his widow, Helen Mocogni.
