1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 extend their sincere sympathies to the family and friends of
4 Ira E. "Bud" Findley, who recently passed away; and
5 WHEREAS, Bud Findley was a former Golden Gloves boxer; he
6 served in the Army Air Force during World War II, taking
7 reconnaissance photos, painting on bombers, and serving as a
8 cook; and
9 WHEREAS, Bud Findley was retired from the Metropolitan
10 Sanitary District; he was a former Lemont Republican
11 committeeman; and
12 WHEREAS, Bud Findley is survived by his wife, Marion; his
13 son, Dan Findley and his wife, Alice;his daughter, Joanne
14 Diebold and her husband, Rick; and his daughter, Judy Kubas
15 and her husband, Bill; his grandchildren, Jenny, Anne, and
16 Danny Findley, Chris and Bryan Diebold, and Dana, Melissa,
17 and Sarah Kubas; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIRST GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 his family and friends, the death of Ira E. "Bud" Findley;
21 may they find peace and comfort in this time of need; and be
22 it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Ira E. "Bud" Findley.
