1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1577
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1577 on page 1, by
3 replacing line 2 with the following:
4 "Redevelopment Authority."; and
5 on page 1, in line 6, by replacing "Relocation and
6 Development" with "Redevelopment"; and
7 on page 2, line 6, by replacing "Relocation and Development"
8 with "Redevelopment"; and
9 on page 2, by replacing line 7 with the following:
10 "Authority, embracing the municipalities of Chicago Ridge,
11 Burbank, Bedford Park, Worth, Tinley Park, Orland Park, Palos
12 Park, Crestwood, Dolton, Riverdale, Harvey, Oak Lawn,
13 Dixmoor, Bridgeview, Alsip, Oak Forest, Midlothian,"; and
14 on page 4, in line 7, by replacing "5-member" with
15 "21-member"; and
16 on page 4, by replacing line 8 with the following:
17 "the mayors or village presidents, or their designees, of
18 Chicago Ridge, Dolton, Burbank, Bedford Park, Worth, Tinley
19 Park, Orland Park, Palos Park, Crestwood, Riverdale, Harvey,
20 Oak Lawn, Dixmoor, Bridgeview, Alsip, Oak Forest,
21 Midlothian,"; and

1 on page 4, by replacing lines 11 and 12 with the following:
2 "each of the participating municipalities until each one has
3 served as Chair, upon which time the office of Chair shall
4 rotate back to the original representative member. Each
5 representative member"; and
6 on page 4, by inserting immediately after line 19 the
7 following:
8 "Any of the 21 member municipalities may opt-out of the
9 Authority by a majority vote of the corporate authorities of
10 that municipality. That municipality shall notify the
11 Authority in writing of its vote to opt-out of the
12 Authority."; and
13 on page 5, in line 4 by replacing "any 3" with "a majority of
14 the".
