1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 7
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 7 on page 1, by
3 inserting between lines 22 and 23 the following:
4 "(c) It is unlawful for a child sex offender to
5 knowingly operate, manage, be employed by, volunteer at, be
6 associated with, or knowingly be present at any facility
7 providing programs or services exclusively directed towards
8 persons under the age of 18. This does not prohibit a child
9 sex offender from owning the real property upon which the
10 programs or services are offered, provided the child sex
11 offender refrains from being present on the premises for the
12 hours during which the programs or services are being
13 offered."; and
14 on page 1, line 23, by replacing "(c)" with "(d)"; and
15 on page 1, line 28, by replacing "(c)" with "(d)"; and
16 on page 4, line 20, by replacing "subsection (c) of this
17 Section" with "this subsection (d)"; and
18 on page 4, lines 22 and 23 by replacing "subsection (c) of
19 this Section" with "this subsection (d)"; and
20 on page 4, by inserting between lines 32 and 33 the
21 following:
22 "(5) "Facility providing programs or services directed

1 towards persons under the age of 18" means any facility
2 providing programs or services exclusively directed towards
3 persons under the the age of 18."; and
4 on page 4, line 33, by replacing "(5)" with "(6)"; and
5 on page 5, line 7, by replacing "(d)" with "(e)".
